National Biodiversity Strategy
The Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate change, Yannis Maniatis signed on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 the Minister’s Decision for the approval of the National Biodiversity Strategy with a 15-year duration and the Action Plan for Biodiversity with a 5-year duration.

International Biogeography Society: 7th International Conference
University of Bayreuth, Germany, January 8th – 12th, 2015
The University of Bayreuth welcomes the International Biogeography Society for its 7th international conference. This modern research university has a major focus on ecological research housed in the Bayreuth Center for Ecology and Environmental Research (BayCEER). Novel concepts for research and teaching are established such as the Ecological-Botanical Gardens and the Global Change Ecology study program.

The Red Data Book of Rare and Threatened Plants of Greece
The two-volume work entitled "The Red Data Book of Rare and Threatened Plants of Greece", was published in 2009, as a result of a collective work, in which 89 botanical scientists or amateurs participated, of which 74 are Greeks and 15 foreigners.
